A reference to wristwatches and the people seen wearing them — on screen, on the red carpet and in everyday life — with a directory of the brands and shops that sell them, and a place for owners to show their own.
What's here
- Sightings. One watch, on one person, at one moment. Every watch has a page listing everywhere it has been seen; every person, film, series and event has a page listing every watch seen there.
- The directory. Watch brands and the shops that sell, buy, auction and service them, with addresses and links.
- Collections. Owners show the watches they wear and love, and can offer one for sale directly to other readers.
How sightings are checked
Sightings come from contributors and are checked by an editor before they appear. Each one says how sure we are — Confirmed, Likely or Unverified — and what the evidence is. When we're not sure of the exact reference, we say so and record the watch as precisely as the evidence allows.
Privacy
We list public figures only, never private individuals, and never children. Sightings in everyday life name the city only — never an address, venue, hotel, home or school — and appear at least a week after the day they happened, so the site can't be used to find anyone in real time.
Fair directory listings
A shop is called an authorised dealer for a brand only when that brand's own store locator lists it, and we show where and when we checked. Paid placements, if we ever offer them, are clearly labelled and never change the order of factual lists.
Our own words
Everything written here is our own. We record plain facts — a brand's name, where it was founded, a shop's address — and write every description ourselves. Brand and model names belong to their owners and are used only to identify the watches.
