Baltic

Baltic was founded in 2016 by Étienne Malec, who grew up around vintage watch collecting. The Paris-based company assembles and regulates its watches at an atelier in Besançon and sells mainly through its own website, showrooms and selected retailers. Its designs openly draw on mid-century watches, combining vintage-style dials and domed crystals with Japanese and Chinese mechanical movements at comparatively modest prices. Principal lines include the Aquascaphe diver, the micro-rotor MR, the HMS dress watches and the Scalegraph chronograph.
