Bulova

Joseph Bulova, an immigrant from Bohemia, opened a small jewellery shop in New York City in 1875, and the business grew into one of the largest American watch companies of the twentieth century. Bulova is linked with several technical milestones, notably the Accutron tuning-fork watch of 1960, and with pioneering broadcast advertising. It has belonged to Japan's Citizen group since 2008. The current range focuses on accessible quartz and automatic watches, including high-frequency Precisionist quartz models and an Archive series that revives designs such as the Lunar Pilot chronograph and the Oceanographer diver.
