DOXA

DOXA was founded in 1889 by Georges Ducommun in Le Locle and is now based in Biel/Bienne. For much of its history it made a broad range of pocket and wristwatches, but its present identity rests on the SUB, a dive watch launched in 1967 with an orange dial chosen for legibility underwater and a bezel incorporating a no-decompression dive table. The brand has been owned by the Jenny family since the late 1990s and has reissued the SUB in many sizes and dial colours, each colour carrying its own name.
