Longines

Longines traces its history to a watch trading business in Saint-Imier that Auguste Agassiz joined in 1832; his nephew Ernest Francillon built a factory on a meadow called Les Longines in 1867, and its winged hourglass logo is one of the oldest registered trademarks still in use. The brand made navigation watches for aviators in the interwar years and has a long involvement in sports timing, particularly equestrian events. It is part of the Swatch Group and offers classic dress models, dive watches and many reissues drawn from its archive.
