Omega

Omega traces its origins to a watch-assembly workshop opened by Louis Brandt in La Chaux-de-Fonds in 1848; the business later settled in Biel/Bienne and took the name of its best-selling calibre. It has long been involved in sports timekeeping and supplied chronographs used in the American space programme. The brand is part of the Swatch Group and fits most current models with co-axial escapements tested to a demanding anti-magnetic and precision standard. Its catalogue is dominated by the Speedmaster, Seamaster, Constellation and De Ville lines.
