Audemars Piguet Royal Oak
The Royal Oak, designed by Gérald Genta, introduced an octagonal bezel fixed by eight hexagonal screws, a tapisserie-patterned dial and an integrated bracelet. It was an early example of a luxury sports watch in steel and now spans time-only, chronograph and complicated models.
